About
Jeff Wesley was elected to the Denham Springs City Council in 2014 after serving nineteen years as the chief of police. During his tenure as chief, Wesley led the department to national accreditation, served as the president of the Louisiana Association of Chiefs of Police, has a degree in criminal justice, graduated from the F.B.I. National Academy, and holds a certificate in Government Management from L.S.U.
He is currently a counter-terrorism instructor for the National Center for Biomedical Research and Training at L.S.U., and spent two years after retirement as a national coordinator for disaster response training through the Department of Homeland Security. Wesley is presently employed by Certified Alarms as a Security Consultant, and maintains a LA Life and Health Insurance license, as well as a Series 6 investment certification.
Jeff is married to Cindy Tarver Wesley. They have five children and four grandchildren. In their leisure time, they enjoy travelling, camping, and spending time with family. The Wesley family attends Revival Temple Church.
